Halong Bay - Cat Ba Island

Ha Long or Bay of the Descending Dragon is a UNESCO WOrld HEritage site, is often touted by proud Vietnamese as the world's Eighth wonder. One of the main attractions of Ha long is the bay's calm water and the thousands of limestone mountains dotting the seascape. The dog-stone
Fighting Cock Island, or Ga Choi Island, is a pair of limestone islet in Halong Bay. Rather than fighting cocks, the limestone formation looked more like a pair of chicken about to kiss. He he he.... Anyway, thats the symbol for Halong Bay.

Junk

Cat Ba town is nothing to get excited about.... Spent a night at Price Hotel. Basic but clean. Street of Cat Ba early in the morning.
View from the hotel's rooftop while having breakfast.
Sunset at Cat Ba jetty
